Isa Dahlström appointed as Ylva’s Culture & People Officer
18.8.2020
Master of Psychology Isa Dahlström has started work as Ylva’s new Culture & People Officer.
“We were looking for someone for this position who would be ready to develop Ylva’s work culture and support us in our everyday life where things change at a quick pace and where there is more pressure than ever to keep learning and developing ourselves. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with brand new challenges, in terms of both our operational business and especially our working methods. We are lucky to have Isa reinforce our team. Even in the middle of all this change, our goal remains to be building the Helsinki of the future, which is also our key value promise towards our staff. We want to be not only Finland’s best workplace but also the most influential,” comments Ylva’s CEO Antti Kerppola.
Among other things, Isa is responsible for the development of the personnel’s skills and wellbeing at work, as well as supporting the managers in personnel management. In addition to being in charge of Ylva’s HR, Isa also acts as Chief Occupational Safety Officer.
“Ylva’s values are a great match to my own, and the work is really versatile and interesting. It is important to me that the company I work for does societally influential work and acts as a bellwether. The Great Place to Work® certificate (link to news item) is a great starting place for developing Ylva’s professional community and, despite the current global situation, I strongly believe we will together be able to make Ylva an even greater place to work,” says Isa.
