UniCafe to open a new restaurant on the Meilahti campus

UniCafe Terkko toimii Meilahden kampuskirjaston ja Terkko Health Hubin yhteydessä

UniCafe Terkko will open its doors on 8 September at Haartmaninkatu 4, next to Terkko Health Hub and the Meilahti Campus Library. The restaurant will be open on weekdays, offering light lunches and a varied cafe menu.

UniCafe Terkko will be serving customers Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Terkko’s lunch options include soups and bowls, as well as paninis and toasties that customers can grill themselves. The lunch soup varies from day to day, with a creamy smoked salmon soup on offer twice a week. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of coffee, tea, soft drinks, savoury and sweet snacks and cafe products.

“We are delighted to be able to serve our customers in the Meilahti area at two different restaurants. With Terkko, our aim is to bring more variety and restaurant seats to people on the campus, as well as to ease the periodic lunch rush at UniCafe Meilahti,” says Anne Immonen, Business Director of Ylva’s restaurants.

All lunches at UniCafe Terkko will be available at student and staff prices.
